HEALTH AND SAFETY ARRANGEMENTS
We are included in the site arrangements for emergency procedures and practice with the schools and canteen with appropriate preparation for our young pupils.
Several staff have First Aid Certificates and can comply with recognised procedures in the Nursery. There are also two nurses on site who can be contacted immediately on a mobile phone from the Infant School The normal emergency procedures would be used if an ambulance were required and parents contacted at once.
We have a medication policy with its excellent safeguards for those with asthma or allergies. Parents should all be given this document on entry. Staff are always willing to discuss these matters through with parents and come to safe arrangements for children in their care. Health and safety checks are done termly and needs reported to the Governors of the schools from whom we rent the building.
